Secara umum, fungsi bahasa adalah sebagai alat komunikasi sosial ( soeparno, 2002 ). Di mana ada sekelompok masyarakat, maka di sanalah terdapat bahasa. Maka tidak heran pula bahasa di setiap daerah memiliki kekhasan tersendiri.           Bahasa yang digunakan oleh manusia sebenarnya sama saja dengan bahasa yang digunakan oleh binatang, sama- sama sebagai alat untuk berkomunikasi. Our beloved motherland, Indonesia known as maritime nations which have various tribes and argots.
