Secara umum, fungsi bahasa adalah sebagai alat komunikasi sosial ( soeparno, 2002 ). Di mana ada sekelompok masyarakat, maka di sanalah terdapat bahasa. Maka tidak heran pula bahasa di setiap daerah memiliki kekhasan tersendiri.
