Slang and style of language toward the globalization in social life

Slang is an informal language used in speaking than writing. It usually applied by people in a group. Slang has been around since the beginning of time It was developed as a secret coding system in the ancient times to confuse opponents. Slang has its place during history as it was used during wars, battles and overthrowing of government power. From slang, the Morse coding system was developed as well as abbreviations for the writings of certain words.

Along with the development of the era, especially in Indonesia increasingly visible effect was given by the slang language Indonesia usage of grammatical usage. The use of slang by the wider community poses negative impact on the expansion of the Indonesia as nation’s identity in the current and foreseeable future. Nowadays, people take a lot of slang and it get worse again in the younger generation of Indonesia also is inseparable from this slang usage.

Various or diversity of a language based on native speaker and their use based on the regard of the status, type, and class of speakers usually refers to as Akrolek, Basilek, Vulgar, slang, Kolokial, Jargon, Argot and ken. There is also that augments with the term ‘prokem’.

 in the social networks the speakers of the slang mutual dialogue through multiform wrote. Speaking in writing be more attentive to series sentences we can intelligible readers well. Hence, the speakers of slang often create new word they use to communicate in social network. Vocabulary applied in the slang existing in social network continue to grow and chsnged the following trend. The speakers usually following slang used by the artist of the capital. For example the word “sesuatu” (something) which is the song of Syahrini who singer in Indonesia. the sentence,  “terus, gw harus bilang Wow gitu?” (“keep I would say, wow man?”) with answer “emang ya? Terus masalah buat lo?” (so? I’ve to say Wow?)  it always used by Soimah when she presentated the event.

Slang which is language outgrowth used by some the youths who call themselves ‘alay’ however it will be used as informal language. However undertaken by the government about using the informal language but in the end of it will grow by itself without preventable. Education language done in school was likely will vain and consuming much time wasted just to study languages.

So many issues about the failure of language and rapidity grow of the language among the youth and causing language that extend and narrowness about the local language. Therefore I make research on the extent of which affect mindset of the teenager and its relation to globalization are being endured by all developing countries like Indonesia. So, this research is very important to lead the result objectively. This result will be show whether slang itself turn off the original language or is I just be the smallest part of as particle large.
